Rollercoasters like you've never seen them before. Sequel is OUT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVPu5FCYyI4!

Kings Dominion (which is located in Doswell, VA) has been a very special place to us and our friends for 8 years now. We've had a blast every time we would go, and having a park this awesome close to home is amazing. Our summer record so far is 6 visits! After getting seriously involved in video production for the past 3 years, we knew we had to take our gear up one day and make something that no one has ever done before.

For those of you interested, here's the gear/software we used.
- Canon T2i
- Canon 18-55mm f/3.5 kit lens (yuck!) (needs an upgrade!)
- Canon 50mm f/1.4 ultrasonic
- Glidecam HD-2000 (still learning how to use better!)
- Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (for stitching it all together)
- Adobe After Effects (color correction, various random effects)
- Video Copilot's Optical Flares and Pro Presets 1&2

Thanks for watching! If you have any comments or questions, leave them in the comment box! Also, it would be a huge help for you to spread this around and subscribe to us so you can catch our future vids! We spent over 30 hours of work over 3 days to get this done, so a bit of discovery would help pay this off! :)

  • you should send this to the guys @ kings dominion and see if they can feature it on their site or something!

  • i like how you guys used the main song from Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron!!! I knew i recognized the song!

  • Great video, I enjoyed seeing what you put together.

  • Amazing vid, amazing park!

  • @A113CS I haven't been to disney since 2008 :/ would love to go back now that we have this stuff! There's a good chance I'll be back at Magic Mountain this fall, so if I can get permission, there shall be a video!

  • @A113CS Thanks! It was easier to get out gear into here... They're a much more lenient park than Magic Mountain. When I was there in May, they had a rule stating that you couldnt have a camera in the park with a lens greater than 3 inches long :/ No idea why either... I'd love to get the chance, and it could happen if I got special permission, I guess I'll have to wait and see! Thanks for the feedback!

  • @BlueMastr887 We just might have to do that :)

  • What camera did you guys use? Those canon beasts - 50D/60, or the SONY HD handycams?

  • thats pretty awesome, I forgot it was reactstudios, I thought it was an official advert for the park! Brilliant, Professional and it looks amazing!

  • nice, I can't wait until I get a real camera, still using a bloggie.
