Cooler Master Centurion 5 Build - Part 2: Pre Cable Management Mods

Just an update showing the cable management holes I cut out. Not the best cut in the world but for only using a dremel I think it came out pretty well. Besides no one will really see most of it cause the window or the motherboard will hide it. Also just some general process of the build.

Stay tuned, tomorrow Im setting up the bench setup.

Glad to see you took on this mod, it will make cable mgmt. a whole lot easier. Trying to put u-channel on small cutouts is tough, but if you take your time it can be done.

Also, if you ask me, I would sleeve any PC that had window. Trust me you won't be happy if you can see any of those wires not sleeved. If you want to just use split tube, they sell split sleeving, it's called F6. You can find it at Wire Care (dot) com.

Im not to worried about the sleeving since the only unsleeved wires exposed are going to be the pci-e cables and mabey a molex. im hiding everything else either at the top or in the back.

I have two of the C-5 cases with blue corners, look good. Had a friend who also had a similar issue with the board and also ended up using a G-byte board.

--> A heads up in case you have any P.S. problems, I was reading P.S. reviews on "Hard OCP" PC hardware site and this rosewill PS model didnt do well at all. Failed several tests, also lost two units when trying to verify units 500 watt output.

I need to do a cut like that on my case... It's something awful for cable management :(

Right now they're just running straight into the drive bays, not hidden whatsoever. Looks bloody awful!
