Nice video. I tend to waste a lot of damage through damage scaling.

Nope, you don't need to connect the full ultra. Though i think you need at least two hits because the last hit always does extra damage. If you connect only one hit then the bonus might kick in and keep you from reaching 5 points.

does the ultra needs to be connected completely? I mean, the 8 ultra hits are necessary?

Oh that doesn't matter. I only care about the 5. There's no way to bring that 9 down to 5, even with every possible penalty in effect.

To make the combo challanges more difficult, You should require all video responses to verify that "auto block" is on before the combo.
Putting a combo together in your head is one thing, but landing the links in addition is another. Just a thought.

It's pretty easy to tell when someone screws up a combo. We can count hits and then check them against the combo counter when it shows up at the end.
Also if they mess up the combo at any point after landing a two-hit combo at the beginning, the combo counter will show up instantly.
Plus anytime you're watching attack data numbers like damage reduction and total combo damage, messing up the combo would ruin both of them. So Auto Block is kinda redundant.
