my regular core temp. is 10 degrees C.
-
@rockhills the sink should be big enough to cool it passively
-
@probaner92 it must be quite hot in the room as you can see some sweat lol. 46 is not anything that would cause damage. It's the load temps that matter.
-
@probaner92 I guess the room their in is quite warm.. Coz it doesn't make sense for a cooler that big to have a 46C in bios (:

Nice try guys, but for the money you spent to pacify your pc, you could redecorate your home and build a new pantry where you can place your pc. Plus youll get a room for jars of jam, bottles of juice, kegs of ale, etc... And be sure, in your living/working room, you wont hear any sound from the pantry.

I agree that 46C is way too hot. My Core 2 Duo E6750 runs at around 32C idle with stock Intel HSF.

outstanding..that pc is seriously quiet....thankyou for this series of videos but i have 1 question.....
is it time to boot up now...hahaha
-
Will you guys do a water cooling episode anytime soon?
-
@rockhills he said in one of the other vids... "we will see how it go's passively with just the 2 case fans if not we will put the cpu fan on"
try hitting your computer with a mallet.

46°C is far too hot for idle
with a 500rpm fan, the temps will increase dramatically running games
just my opinion
anyway, very nice and quiet result
