That's my river, the Rogue. I grew up there, swam and fished in it and also watched dams being built. My parents loved the river, and dreamed of a dam free river-- their ashes are scattered above the dams. Now I am in my late 60s and living 3000 miles away, and I feel so happy to see these dams coming down and the river being given back what it is due. Thank you.
