Greek leftists acknowledge Macedonia's constitutional name

The Greek leaders of the leftist forces think Macedonia can use its constitutional name. Two of the parliamentary represented parties in Athens recognize Macedonia's name.
The Greek representatives, who attended the Sixth Socialist Congress in Macedonia, did not mind the usage of the constitutional name. They will lobby in their country for the long name debate between Athens and Skopje to be solved.

The Coalition of the Left, of Movements and Ecology (Greek: Synaspismos, Συνασπισμός, full name: Συνασπισμός της Αριστεράς, των Κινημάτων, και της Οικολογίας) is a Greek political party of the radical left.

The party has members in the national and European Parliament. In the European Parliament they sit in the European United Left - Nordic Green Left group. Synaspismos is also a founding member of the European Left party.
