"I was told that the Department of Justice was possibly interested and looking at go! airline's practices, but we will see, because I don't want to be premature about any options. The commitment is going to be
there for us to do whatever we can at the Federal level and of course the State can do certain things to help."
We should really question Mesa Air and Ornstein's motives. They've lost over 100 million in the last year and a half, so their prices are low to obviously undercut the market while they wait out competitors.
Will they continue? Can they hold out until Hawaiian goes belly-up too? Or now that 1900 locals have lost their jobs, people will wake up and see that $49.00 tickets really cost more than they think?

It's so sad that Aloha is going out of business. It really is a dark day for Hawaii.
