Mariano and Hoffman are the two best closers ever. Plus, they both have the most epic entrance music

But Hoffman had less chances. The NL/AL arguement would fair better if NY didnt have the best hitters in the AL while the Padres had some low level hitters in the NL.

It's funny how you say Hoffman is better than Rivera because of the team he plays for, when in fact that hurts Hoffman. Hoffman played in the NL compared to the Rivera who always played in the AL where hitters are far better. Also, Rivera played his whole career in a hitters ballpark compared to the biggest pitcher park in baseball Petco Park. Hoffman is a top 2 closer of all time, but #1 will always be Rivera

It's funny y'all say Mo is better than Trevor. Sure, Mo has done great in NY, but he's been to 5+ WS, Trevor went to 1, NY makes the Playoffs almost every year, SD has made the playoffs like 5 times. Trevor had A LOT MORE to go through than Mo, not to mention, Enter Sandman is a sellout song, Hells Bells is and always will be better!!! Trevor - Mariano
