Bardzo dobre nagranie! Henryk Gold z swej najlepszej strony ;-)

We had a Philco table model in the Kitchen and a Victor Radiola (RCA) Super Hetrodine in the Livingroom (floor model on legs AM and short wave band) both of thse radios required outside aerials - we had them until the early l950's when TV came in......Now Radio is mostly on the internet for me.

Hi Grzegorz, - it's a very interesting and fun - upload - Henryk Gold was phenomenal - it's a shame that his brother Arthur - could not be saved - but he lives forever - on Youtube! Thanks!
We actually had a radio like the one at 0:38. I think it was a Stromberg-Carlson. Great upload. In America these days hardly anyone listens to a radio anymore.

Hi B., it's a Paillard. It was a Swiss radio producer. We used to have a Paillard portable gramophone which one day I, ofcourse, dismantled and never put it bback together again. I remember it had quite good high tones, but the low sounds were best on the Odeon (I mean the one which still stands on the windowsill and sometimes accompanied us with its tangoes during our work in my library).
