I download stuff via torrent. If its a game i like I buy it, if not i delete it and never give it another thought. Not always demos are available and usually very restricted and never gives a complete impression of the game. I dont wanna spend 40£ on a crap game I'm never gonna play and support the devs so they can make more crap games. Good games i gladly spend money on and give the devs all the support I can.

I used to pirate when I was a kid, I couldn't afford any games, so I just pirated them. As soon as I started earning money, I bought what I desired.

I kno, most reviews are useless for me though, because reviewers are mainly subjective. The other way lets me make my own full impression of the game and I can decide for myself if it is something I want. I gotta say that I have based some of my purchases om WTF's from TB and mainly its been a good thing. I dont mind paying a few bucks for an indie game that i ultimately dont like, but the big devs like EA can release some very shitty games and expect you to pay up to 60£ for them.

on the basis of TB saying if a guild wants nothing but white people they should be allowed...im sort of ok with this, why? Do i necessarily want to be with a group of white supremacists? no...let them have a corner, ill know what corner to avoid. Do i want them to be spread out shouting their hate elsewhere? No, i have a distaste for that crap, letting them have a small corner to themselves where its contained isnt a bad idea.

@Havocdk exactly. well put man, i wish more people could see that this method of doing things is actually GOOD for the gaming market.. well more importantly, i wish more people had that mindset lol. there will always be kids out there that pirate just to pirate things

it forces out bad development and bad business models, as opposed to the nazi-model trend of commercial bombardment. thus leaving PLENTY of open space for more deserving, artistic development; big or small
