@ikaninjau2 -- but you're forced to carry it when it runs out of juice, and it's not like an iphone that you can just stow in a pocket or a purse. You're forced to carry something around the rest of the night that will take six hours to charge so you can look cool for an hour again tomorrow. Meh.

No one wants to sit in a chair when they can sprint but then when they want to cruise they don't want to walk, so if this was much more portable the you could still walk but then have a little mobile chair you could unfold...

Over a year later, this object has disappeared from the gadget sites.

It will never be more than an amusement in the US for the following reasons:

1. The battery only lasts an hour and probably takes longer to charge.

2. Max weight is 220 pounds. Those who'll *want* to use it are mostly fat guys at comic-con or Walmart.

3. It isn't really good for the medical market because you need a sense of balance. The window of users on that front is really narrow.

4. Cost to the average buyer is too high.
