I lived about a half mile from the beach on Winnocunet road in 1978, the water was rushing up the road past my house.

Great footage,..love Hampton Beach. Been there about 12-14 times in 25 years. I was there before the waterslide, the McDonalds and the Seafood festival. And I am from Canada. Was there during Hurricane Bob and spent time in a Hampton school with some kids from Chernobyl who were visiting until the storm went through.

Are those the condos that were built near the surf shop? I remember when they were building them and thinking, whatever poor souls buy those are going to be in for a rude awakening because I knew the Real Estate people wouldn't tell them about the floods that can occur there.
I was down Hampton today. I live a couple miles from there so have been going since I was a kid. Some pretty cool storms down there for sure. Great video.

The footage at 2:16 blows my mind!
I used to live in Bedford in 78'. That snow came up to my chest. Ron's Beach House still there?

Now called "Ron's Landing at Rocky Bend" in Hampton. It is one of my favorite restaurants.
