Ace and John did not adopt Christian as a pet lion. They adopted him as a son. That's why their bond is so strong; strong enough that their visit after Boy's death helps Christian be firm and move on.

Omg when they said Christian would lay beside Boi's grave, I got tears! This story is truly amazing and it just goes to show you how big of a heart Christian has. Not only him but all animals. Just needs to be shown love back and they'll never betray you.<3
