  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Wy do we want to imagine that ocean animals can fly in the sky, especially children?

    (3) Why do we like to imagine and to image aeroplanes as ocean animals? (eg. 747= whale & 787 = dolphin)

    (4) Why do we want to build an aeroplane looking like a penguin in the ocean?

    (5) Why do we enjoy to image sea animals are flying at sea?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • @applesweeter

I think the answer to all of the questions is simply that we are "programmed" to reach for the the "unthinkable" and strive for perfection... Nature is usually much more perfected than our own creations. Our mind enjoys challenges and the unexpected, such as flying ocean animals...

And you can move in 3 dimensions in water and air. I love free diving and scuba diving, it feels as flying freely and with a minimum of equipment.

  • @Robotshopen

What do you think about the following statement?

"We like to make flying vehicle looks like a ocean animals so that we can imagine that a flying vehicle has life. This will remind and recall our nice early childhood feeling, when we thought that every object is living"

    Please express you opinion

  • @applesweeter

I don't remember thinking that every object was living... But I guess it's true for some. I rather say that when you are a child you usually have a lot more imagination, before it gets blocked by school, boring routines, grown ups, etc... So our fascination for these things shows that we still have that childhood imagination left inside, and it's never too late to get it back and keep on to explore it! :-)

  • @applesweeter That's a pretty interesting idea actually. I never thought of that before. Yeah maybe for penguins the horizon is the deep. I wonder if they're frustrated with how deep they can go, if they wonder how much further they can go.

I can see how flying can be an art form. Especially beautifully designed planes flown by amazing pilots.

  • @dudecrushdude

Do you think flying is a kind of art?

Somehow, I think that penguin think the sky is toward downward (in the deep bottom of the ocean) instead of upward. This may be Penguin's psychology. What do you think???

  • @applesweeter Yeah, to freely explore the universe unbound would be incredible. I don't know why these particular people did it, but I think they chose the penguin because the penguin cannot fly through air even though it can through water. Like us, penguins live their whole lives wishing they could fly. I wonder if they are envious of other birds. I think art is the first step towards the impossible. We were dreaming of flying and depicting it in art ages before invented planes.

  • @dudecrushdude

    Nice opinions!! :)

From your answer, we love flying because we want to free from gravity and fly freely to explore the universe. Am I correct?

What do you think about my following statement?

"We like to create a flying penguin, because we like imgina the 3D space that we are living is water, and we can swim freely with the penguin"

  • @applesweeter We love the feeling of being unbound. We were all created from pure energy. We know deep down how vast the universe is and have been fascinated with the stars at the edge of reality since the beginning of time. If we could fly freely through space, we could be that little bit closer to the beginning of everything. Ocean animals have mastered the dimensions of their cruelly limited domain while we are slaves to gravity and the delicateness of air. We can always wish.

  • This could acctualy be usefull someday. For example, If they have a camera they could be remote security cameras.

  • sugeeeee!!

  • Looks more like Skynet than penguins to me

  • How are they doing that? They are kinda hovering and with no real noise? Can't see any external sources of power and lift.

  • OK, WHAT THE HELL?

There is a MOTHERFUCKING FLYING PENGUINBOT IN THE ROOM AND NO ONE TAKES A MINUTE TO ADMIRE IT?

People are so hard to impress nowadays.
