Tales of Phantasia: Dark Blade Hi Ougi Unleashed!

Ehh.
A lot of people can't seem to do this so they say that it isn't possible.

Here's prooving otherwise. It's hard doing this because you have to get your health in the red (rarely ever happens for me) and then press
a + b + l + r to use it. It's no that strong though. To use it in the video I had to sit there and wait for the enemies to hit me and put my allies on guard only

The second part of the video is me demonstrating that you can only do it once in a battle (that's why I was using chaos blade weirdly)

Man...this game could have been done SO much better as far as both ports and GBA games go! They did a good job on ND2 & 3 and it baffles me how this could've turned out so sloppy.

It really bugs the heck out of me when during the GBA days, Namco hardly localized their Tales games (not to say they do it now) and when they finally did, they give the english-speaking fans a half-done port and didn't localize any of the better ones like ND2 & 3!

i couldn't trigger dark blade for the fuck of it in the gba version

They where supose to add his "scream" at the mystic arte but the text file that cordinates the sound for example: use Demon fang and a sound file activates that plasys the sound of Cless/Cress saying Demon fang. But when he use his "Mystic arte" the game plays the sound of a dog in the game.
