Some tablets develop these areas of dead-space, when you try to draw on them the line jumps and skips around.

The problem is caused by dirty internal connectors. To fix it you just open the tablet up, disconnect those connectors and clean them with some kinda solvent (ie: pure alcohol, ethanol, methylated spirits, etc).
Fixes it right up, easy.

It should work on all sorts of tablets as it's pretty standard tech, there'll be something in there to clean.

The inspiration to find this solution came from this:

  • you sir are the light from the arse of the sun and should be named champion of earth defender of her drawing tablets. youve saved me having to buy yet another tablet. thankyou women should offer you sex wherever you go. It would make me smile.

By the way these drawing things are kind of destined to fail, I noticed the connecting strips are worn, if movement was limited internally it would extend the life of the product.

  • I tried this on my genius f610 and it worked magnificently! DO NOT USE TABLET LIKE A MOUSE PAD. I made this huge mistake and now I have to work around the problems. And now the only problem I have with my tablet are the malfunctioning side buttons of the pen itself. But thank you so much for this extremely helpful tutorial! =)
