  • Camera pretty close there. I used to think these trains were modern in the day. But for 1988, well, not exactly bullet trains, were they? Railways were so far behind by then. To think the Japanese had bullets trains in 1964 and steam trains until the mid 70s too. I hope they hold on to what is left of the rail inftastructure and improve it. It seemed to be finally happening under a Vic Labor government from 2000. We'll see what happens.

  • @Skyhawk501 yes thats what cheap Air travel has done to slow old Railways. once aopn a time the train was a quick way to get around. not now.
