I loved the US version soooo much better, I tried liking the british version but I just couldn't. It bored me.

I watched the British version first, before I watched the US one, and I would have to say that I actually preferred the British one. Why? Because it was more interesting and gritty whereas the US was more glossy. The only thing that kept my interest was Gale Harold in the US version, plus they added more storyline to it. The only issue I had with the US one was how they made Brian's character fall for the kid which to me wasn't believable. Overall both shows were awesome.
