This is a basic sprayjob of a honda civic side. It had a used door put on and required painting and blending into the fender and door.

  • Jimmo, been liking your bids. Where has the Bondomerchant been. What is your username on the refining network. I'm a member but have not been there much. What software do u use to edit your videos?

  • @ffangoria

I'm not sure what the bondoman's up to, he's been on a few times i've been on lately. My username is Jimmo on RM. Most of them I just use the windows video editor. I am hoping to move onto Adobe Premier and put some better stuff together, hard to find the time!

  • Hey Buddy what Blue is on that Honda?

  • @RAJSTA81

I think it was BP96P-4 ....don't quote me

  • umm did you know that the filters in your mask are in backwards the writing needs to be on the mask side lol just do let you know, great job tho, those RP's are the best for clear!

  • @bigred21185

Ha, I dropped my mask and it all popped out minutes prior.... I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty frigging hungover so I'm sure I jammed it back together whatever seemed easiest at the time..good eye tho, lol

  • Is it necessary to re-clear the whole side or can you use a blender?

  • Question, I'm always interested in knowing why certain shops use certain paint companies over others. What are, if any, reasons why you use BASF as opposed to PPG, or any others?

  • Hi, you didn'y use any tack cloth ?

  • Hey Idk if the clear you use doesn't have icocayantes , but respirators like that aren't meant to spray clear they don't protect you. You need an air supplied one. It causes cancer

  • hey dude nice job i have to ask you a question i have a hvlp gun and it has a regulator i wanted to know how many lbs can i paint a car? 30lbs 0r 40lbs?

  • that car looked good blend was good too what gun is that my shop has four fucking brand new iwata supernovas and for paint we use sikkens are old paint always made the clear sag like shit though that car came out mint i liked the way it looked at the end of it but why us paper on the wheels and rocker when you can use plastic and pull it tight and why not take the molding and door handle off if the body men dont

  • @jimmo4life

    Ok cool,, Cheers Buddy

  • What brand of base coat are you used?

    and your videos are great!

  • Jimmo, Thanks for the response. That was vids not bids and refinish by the way. These smart phones don't make me look to smart. Try Newegg.com for deals on pc and software stuff. How long you been using water base and what brand, we are thinking of going to water?

Thanks for the info and keep on paintin

  • Is the "wetbed" normally a shot of clear coat before applying the base coat? Also, was this a waterborne clear coat?
