Flash influenced so many people. There is a large DJ nation but Flash is and will always be #1 forever.

@tyler5card What a cool Mum you had!! I love that she helped you on your way. So many parents try to discourage their kids from wanting to play instruments / be in a band etc, or disapprove of the music they listen to, so big up to your Mum!! .My Mum kind of did the same for me, she bought me a guitar when I was 10yrs old even though she had very little money, & when I was 12 she bought me The Sex Pistols Never Mind The Bollocks album cos she knew I loved it!!! So, here's to great Mums!!

@UNITEDDJS808 i remember back in the late 80s i was about 15 and my mom bought me my first set of turntables and 2 copys of grandmaster flashes the message album i went at least 2 months on those albums me and my homis chillin on my porch rappin and me djing good times good times now its my sons turn i already got him djing and hes 6 years old its awsome
