Agreed. FvJ had a few good action scenes and a decent premise which save the movie, but the rest is the typical "twenty minutes with jerks". :)
I don't see how Freddy vs Jason is even a contest though. Freddy is a god when he's in dreamworld. He can basically do anything he wants to you, while Jason is just a really tough zombie. Freddy should have just turned Jason into a cockroach and stomped on him.

@Freya06 Underrated? I don't think so. This film had a wonderful intro and epic fight scenes, but overall the film was still bad.

@WTFisadeeto I guess Jason was the only killer Freddy could find that was trapped in hell. Plus, out of all horror icons, Jason is probably the easiest to manipulate.

@jlc2324 Freddy has killed his victims that escaped him the first time: Nancy and Lt Thompson in Nightmare 3, the dream warriors in Nightmare 4, and Dan in Nightmare 5. Jason has never killed any of his surviving victims. Tommy Jarvis and Chris Higgins has survived two encounters with Jason. Don't forget all the others that have survived Jason. Freddy will eventually get you. You may escape him the first time, but you'll get killed in the next movie. That's what makes Freddy better.
