88-Way Virginia State Record

On Sunday, September 7, 2008 - The official Virginia State Record was set when exactly 88 pre-declared and slotted jumpers met together in one place in the skies over STP, West Point, VA. The event also marked the birthday celebration of THE queen of the skies, Carol Clay. This was the last jump of the day, the last jump of the event, and it was pulled off flawlessly! The formation held for over 13 seconds and a new state record was set. 3 jumpers from Delmarva participated in the record jump: Myself (who can be seen approaching to dock at the 7-o'clock position in this video at precisely 43 sec) and Gregor & Christine Weeks.
