TOM & JERRY CHRISTMAS DRINK BATTER RECIPE

Ingredients
Tom and Jerry Single Serving
1 egg, separated
1 teaspoon bar sugar
1 ounce dark Jamaica rum
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 ounce brandy
Hot water

Tom and Jerry Quantity Batter
12eggs, separated
31/2 pounds bar sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

Drink Mix From Prepared Batter
1 heaping teaspoon prepared Tom and Jerry batter
1/2 ounce Jamaican rum
1/2 ounce brandy
Boiling water, hot coffee or hot milk

Instructions
Prep and Cook Time: About 1 1/4 hours


Tom and Jerry Single Serving
Beat egg yolk with sugar, rum and allspice until smooth and thick. Separately beat egg white until stiff. Fold white into yolk mixture. Put mixture into a preheated mug. Add hot water to fill mug 3/4 full. Stir gently. Add brandy. Dust with grated nutmeg.

Tom and Jerry Quantity Batter
Beat egg yolks with 3 pounds of the sugar and nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves until thick and light. Separately beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form; gradually beat in remaining sugar; beat until stiff. Gently fold whites into yolks.

Drink Mix From Prepared Batter
Preheat a 6 ounce Tom and Jerry mug with hot water. Add batter, rum, brandy, and stir. Fill mug with boiling water, hot coffee or hot milk. Stir.

Hey! My family recipie, is 6 eggs, seperated. Beat the white's untill stiff. Add in a large tablespoon of cream of tartar, so keep the eggs from seperating. Then add a pound of powder sugar. Mix the whites in with the yolks and your batter is done! Pre heat your mugs. Fill the mug half way up with batter, add a shot of whiskey, or Capt. Morgan, fill it the rest of the way with boiling water. Sprinkle Nutmeg on top and enjoy! :)

This is the recipe I have for a Tom and Jerry: Tom and Jerry 4 oz. Rum 5 pounds Sugar 12 Eggs 1 1/2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon 1/2 tsp. Ground Cloves 1/2 tsp. Ground Allspice 4 oz. Brandy Boiling Water Beat whites of eggs to stiff froth and yolks until thin. Mix together with spices and Rum. Thicken with sugar until the mixture attains the consistency of a light batter. In warmed coffee cup add 1 tbsp. batter and 4 oz. Brandy. Fill with water.

I love Tom and Jerry's batter in hot brandy drinks.  You can make French Toast with it too. So good! I'm gonna make some right now.
