OK...First of all, Are you using wormscrew gears for the truck? Thats probably why it is slug-slow. I have made a trial truck, that if you gear it down 2 or 3x, you can get a good amount of torque. And where may i ask is the cab?

it could be a little bit faster, if you have the motors from rc buggy which are as strong as the m-motor, but it has 1300 rpm not 405. you can use they, you know what i tried to say
