The BARV is a British military support vehicle, the name coming from "Beach Armoured Recovery Vehicle" built on the M4A2 Sherman, M3A5 Grant, Centurion, and Leopard 1A5 tanks.

That butt ugly half tank half tug boat thing is really cool.

I think this proves that they train for every occasion. The only difference getting a 50(?) tonne truck stuck made was they had to pop and get a mate for 10 mins.

There are certain military bodies I can think of where that truck would have stayed there due to lack of knowledge/equipment.
