Assembling LED lamp clusters the easy way by means of a template to fit the leds in clusters up to 7 leds.
Schema's for 110 Volts and 230 Volts connections.

I use an old B 22 bayonet lampfitting, crusch the old lamp, clean out the base and fit the LED's. These LED lamps can be used for indication or night lights in your house.
Any colour LED may be used.

CAUTION !! with mains voltages isolate / test supply and work safe. Also use sleeving over exposed terminals.

  • Hi... I am a newbie . Im interested in your project. in my country we use 230V. What is the value of the diode to use. id lilke to be able t o replicate this project for my lampshade.. thanks

  • @rh7root Diode 1N4007 ( 1Amp1kV ) resistors 2 x 27k Ohms 1 Watt.

Keep the led current below 20 mA. example runs on 10 mA.

  • vc poderia legendar este video para nós. por favor!!!!!

  • Thanks for the project. In project for 230V, i see 2 diodes. Is 2 1N4007? And the number of Leds, its 7 too? Regards

  • But do not heat up?, I experimented with other settings and have that problem.

  • Thanx dude.

  • Thank you so much! I have been trying to figure out how to ease the production of one of my projects with small 1206 LEDs. I have been wasting time on small jigs and rigs to put the LEDs in and then the entire jig and assembly on a small board. Soon I seen your rig for LED assembly it just hit me. Why not put the LEDs in bottom mount as I was always trying top mount.

  • @RODALCO2007 Thanks for the quick reply. ill shop for parts tomorrow and try this out. will let you know if I get it running.. Hope it gives a good light enough for me to read before bed time.
