A pain, yes indeed, the gill plates are a bear !! Great throw though !!!! Have only thrown a cast net on a school a few times, but they are a drumming pain ! lol

@strikenetter I was just shocked that all the years i've been throwing a 12' cast net off my dock that so many croaker were moving down the canal at that time. What a pain to clear the net too! The crabs were delicious!
