I never knew croakers schooled like this. One throw of a 12.5' cast net and i spent 30 minutes getting them un-gilled.

  • Croakers are a schooling fish, we gillnet them in the ocean and the marks on the sonar are phenominal. Mark them solid from top to bottom in 60 ft of water, millions of pounds.

  • @strikenetter I was just shocked that all the years i've been throwing a 12' cast net off my dock that so many croaker were moving down the canal at that time. What a pain to clear the net too! The crabs were delicious!
