The first one came closest to capturing the essence of the Resident Evil franchise, but even then it was painfully dull and, most importantly, not at all scary. In it's defence, it wasn't completely farfetched with the whole super Alice shit going on.

If you like the Resident Evil movies, why wouldn't you like the Transformers franchise? It's just as vapid and vacuous, just with more explosions and pretty set pieces.
