On Tuesday the US will hold midterm elections, seen as a referendum on Barack Obama's presidency just two years into his term in office.

Illinois, Obama's home state, used to be a safe bet for the democrats - it used to be the president's seat.

However, this year it is a tight race due in part to a new player on the poltiical scene; the Tea Party Movement.

Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from Illinois where supporters of the conservative movement are campaigning.
