At 1:57, "There's a whole math to how to figure out how to space things as they recede into the background"...is exactly what I want to know. Could you provide any links to resources so that we don't have to "fake it"?

i loved your drawing, it reminds me when I used to draw with my dad as a little girl. Thanks for the good memories

I came here to figure out how he calculated where is the half of the wall to place the rooftop in the right point... but he just skipped that part :/ If its a perspective tutorial, then please show what you do and not just poke your pen here and there by rule of thumb.......

@illusionistdave no... every object seems smaller in far distances, therefore the lines are not paralell. The sides of the road are not paralell in paper, either. If you draw everything parallel what is parallel in real life, then its not called perspective... and looks very stupid. Like cave drawings.

WTF?! There was a flying pencil...and i think its funny that u was drinking soda...or, watever.....

I'm confused. Wouldn't the tops of the door and windows be parallel to the line of the roof since they are parallel in real life?

Guys dont get confused, Mr karl has used One point persective while drawing the road and the sign pole, and he made the house by using two point perspective....so basically, perspective made with one vanishing point, is one pt perspective....same goes for two and three point....thank you
