The Doctor is under threat and makes use of a hand grenade to lay a trap for his stalker. Tom Baker is The Doctor in this BBC clip from 'The Deadly Assassin'.

  • I love both his "horrible" hair and his puffy shirt. Tom Baker was beaten up and kicked around just as much as David Tennant has! This episode was hardcore.

  • I Know!

Why the devil won't BBC America show Classic Doctor Who!?!?

  • @AnnaPollzz

Except 'School reunion' is NOT classic Doctor Who? Its part of the new show.

Which btw is a melodramatic and crude ADHD'ish version of the good ol' original blend.

  • The orignal Matrix. So cool and ahead of it's time.

  • @LadyEdgar I agree !

  • @AnnaPollzz Personally i never thoguht Tennant had many great rants, Matt Smith however had had some kcikass speeches and the thing you said with tennant adapting well thats the writing not the acting

  • @aclipes that sounds retarded like if you give a string and grenade anyone could do that

  • Polana get me a 9" Knife and a handgrenade, am sorting this timewar shit out'

  • This goes to show the doctor doesn't need guns just some string and a grenade.

  • @trumbachd1 hahaha you americans have evrything but classic doctor who hahaha fail no offence

  • @trumbachd1 From my understanding it had to do with the pay per play contract the actors are paid the same everytime the show is aired- originaly BBC had no intentions on showing reruns hence the reason most of the troughton years were recoreded over.

  • @ChrisGnosis You're entitled to your opinion, but so am I. So in my opinion David Tennant is probably the greatest or one of the greatest Doctors and down right greatest actor I've ever seen. The way he can be put into any situation or scenario and adapt perfectly just baffles me. I love when he has scenes where he's angry or going on a rant like in the End of Time Part 2 when he sacrifices himself for Wilf. That speech was by far my favorite scene in Doctor Who ever (acting wise).
