@Mcq4441 An embryo is not a fetus. A fetus is not a baby.
The key difference here is viability. An embryo or fetus is not viable, (i.e., not capable of surviving on its own outside the womb,) while a baby is.
You cannot force me to take in a homeless child who is dying from cold and starvation, force me to shelter and feed the child to keep her alive at my inconvenience and expense.
Just as you cannot force a woman to "house" and "feed" an embryo, fetus or even baby at her expense.

Let me just put this out there...a baby, no matter how it is made, has no right to life? What about the baby? Doesn't it have the right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness"? Put yourself in the baby's shoes...would YOU want to be aborted? I don't think so. Now, yes, rape is incredibly evil, and my condolances to you. Really. But, why perform more evil by murdering a child?
-
@meleder the main difference is other than rape, she made the choice. all these other scenarios don't relate and don't apply. if the birth may kill the mother of course abortion is justified there as well.
-
@meleder needing organ transplants is nothing like abortion. idk why the hell you are trying to argue with me, you're not right, they're not right. so calm down there buddy. try and open up that mind of yours and realize that not everyone agrees with you and that some things don't have a set right or wrong. how did that baby come to be? you can't have a kid without sex, which means she chose to have unprotected sex or isn't on the pill.

@terminatorgir Forcing a woman to stay pregnant to "protect the life of a fetus" is no better than forcing you to have to give up blood against your will to physically support someone. What is the difference? If women have to support life against their will, then the rest of the population should have to as well.
-
@terminatorgir People die every day needing organ transplants. What happened to their right to life? So should we force peopel to have to give up organs or blood against their will? I mean we do nto foce that enevn in death, once you are dead, your family can not be forced to give up your organs, yet millions die. Are you and they guilty of murder?
-
@terminatorgir Its not a child. There are not two sides. Do we force by law a person to give a child(NOT FETUS) an organ even if that child will die? No, we never force anyone to give up any organ or blood or body tissue to physically support another human life. ?

You see these intense subjects are way beyond these shallow minds. Will when you die someday which will happen you will face the omnipotent mono theistic creator and you will be judged for your visit here on earth. Happy slipping on your grease poll to hell!

@meleder if someone believes that the baby inside a woman is alive that means its a life, therefore terminating that life would indeed be murdering her own child. which would mean that a woman should be able to choose to murder her child whenever she wants, what happened to the childs right to live? we would never allow a mother to ask a doctor to kill a week old baby, or a 2 year old. I see the point of view of both sides, im just pointing out that its an issue with no clear answer.
-
@meleder you're ignoring the entire reason this is even an issue, the whole thing depends on when a person believes that life begins, if its at conception then you are essentially saying murder is a good way for women to correct mistakes. I AM NOT TAKING A SIDE HERE, I am just amazed as some people's inability to see more than one side of an issue. there is no black and white here, its all kinds of shades of grey.
If Santorums daughter was raped by a black dude, you an abortion would be happening ASAP!
