First off, birth control pills are made to STOP fertilization, so it can't be called abortion as it is either stopping the egg, or trapping the sperm. After fertilization, it has no effect. Nothing can be a gift if it was forced on you. I suggest you read up on the 13th amendment.

If God doesn't force man to do things how can I?The real issue is that 95% of abortions are done as birth control, 1% are done because of rape/incest, 1% because of fetal abnormalities, and 3% due to the mother's health problems. A rape victims suffer but at least they can experience the gift of life. My feeling is that everyone should have hope for a chance at life.

And if my daughter was raped, and got pregnant because of it, no one can force her to carry it to term. There are ways to reduce the numbers of abortion, without making abortion illegal.

Then the baby should be given to someone who does! Adoption would be a great option. But no one can force someone due to free will. As for my two cents my conscience tells me adoption is better than murder of innocent life.

Its one thing to encourage women not to chose abortion but it should not be forced on them. Leave Roe v Wade alone.
