"Today, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a worldwide religion. Church membership is currently over 13 million, with over half of the members living outside the United States. Although Utah is often thought of as the home of the Mormons, only about 14 percent of the Church membership lives in Utah.
With a global focus, the Church has more than 100 temples worldwide, prints monthly magazines in 50 languages for adults, youth, and children and has published more than 100 million copies of the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ in over 93 languages.
With over 50,000 missionaries in 162 countries, Church membership continues to grow exponentially.
Members throughout the world are organized into local congregations called wards or branches. These congregations are organized geographically, and members attend a ward or branch near their home, meeting together each Sunday to worship and learn. The leader of a congregation is a bishop or a branch president. He is not paid for his service, but he donates his time to serve the congregation."

if a man was anointed of God. whould we not also see minifestations of Glory like the rest of the prophets of God? I mean... The Word of God says we are all anointed... so can we all prophesie like Eli Prohpet of God. As Christ is, and we are perfected in Christ, should we not All be Able to do as Christ does? He did say we are sons of God... so? miracles followed all the Prophets, Jesus.. sons of god...So we as sons of God are Missing what? Fruits of who we are.

Members also have a variety of projects they can choose to work on. One example of a project recently completed by the community was an application developed for the major mobile device platforms such as Android, BlackBerry, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and WebOS. This program, called Mormon Channel, allows access to the Church's radio station, conference and scripture recordings and even audio recordings of individual Church magazine articles.

Temples are considered houses of the Lord where Christ's teachings are reaffirmed through marriage, baptism and other ordinances that unite families for eternity and where members learn more about the purpose of life.

But if it was up to Setu, he would be headed to South Africa.
“I would love to work in the communities in South Africa and spread the gospel there,” Setu said.
“My religion has been everything to me. Without it I would not be where I am.
“I want to spread the gospel of my religion to other places, so it can help them like it has me.

@MormonUnApologist NO, you will NOT find your made up version in my LDS history books! Somebody is sure pulling the wool over your eyes!

@omiolo Making things up? It's your history out of your own history books. Nothing needs to be made up, but it's clear the church leadership has spent many decades smoothing things over and sweeping the salacious parts of its history under the rug. After enough rewrites perhaps Mormonism will look even more like mainstream Christianity after all, but it will no longer be how Joseph Smith created it. Heck it already isn't so much has changed in 150 some odd years.
