@prantor23 Sorry, i just assumed you started talking about 2010 since you said the best football playied in the last World Cup was by Argentina and the last Cup was 2010. I wasn't trying to start a fight, I just wanted a discussion and misinterpreted I guess. And I do in fact agree with your overall statement that the best team doesn't always win the championship, no matter what the sport is. My apologies.

@wwuburg19 Perhaps you didn't notice this discussion and video was about world cup 2006. About 2010 WC, yes, Germany was by far the better team than either Argentina or England and Spain did very well to beat them. WC 2010 was one of those rare occasions where the best team lifted the trophy.

@prantor23 I'd say Germany played better than Argentina in the last Cup especially considering that Germany beat Argentina 4-0 and England 4-1 while playing wonderfully attacking especially on the counter (and Argentina didn't take off their 1st choice gk vs them). But you still can't say Spain wasn't the best team at that Cup because they dominated possession and gave up only 2 goals all while having to play against teams that cowered defensively against them and packing their half of the field

best teams don't always win world cup...the only Exception is perhaps Brazil.. the best football in last world cup was undoubtedly played by Argentina...but luck wasn't with them....But all teams need luck at some stage.. See the penalty due to Fabio Grosso acting against australia.. Italy was loosing that match...And argentina? they had to take their first choice goalkeeper off against Germany... This is the beauty of football. You never know what's coming
