Medjugorje, in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a special place of pilgrimage visited by thousands of pilgrims each year in search of the spirituality and serenity that exists here.

On 24 June 1981 Our Lady first appeared to six visionaries from the village of Medjugorje and told them "I have chosen this parish in a special way and I wish to lead it". Our Lady continues to give messages to these visionaries: Ivan, Jakov, Marija, Mirjana, Vicka, and Ivanka. They report that Our Lady's mission is one of peace and love and she tells us "I have come to tell the world that God exists. He is the fullness of life, and to enjoy this fullness and peace, you must return to God".

Joe Walsh Tours offers short breaks and weeklong pilgrimages to Medjugorje as well as a combination of Pilgrimage & Sun Holidays featuring 3 or 4-day pilgrimages with the balance of the week spent on the Croatian coast.

We operate weekly flights every Saturday from Dublin to Croatia and departures on selected dates from Cork, Shannon, Ireland West-Knock and Belfast.
