So that's what happens to former professional Longhorn Band members when they retired from active service -- they end up begging for money from rich alums outside D K Royal Memorial Stadium. The one they chopped down all the trees for... The one where I knew a 47 year old Clarinet player named Clarence something whose only job was playing in the Longhorns Band and that was back in 1968-69. Hell, he's probably still there!UT sux. 800 students to a class.
