RC Ansmann Virus 2 nitro near fail whilst bashing EPIC ending

Bashing with my virus 2, the car flew perilously close over our beloved Canon camera. Very close to trashing it. The cars filter flew off with impact, but the car was undamaged.

Nice video man, im thinking of getting one and got one question: Is the car any good?

@popierdalacze I have had the car for 1 month and the engine casing has now got a hole in it, the crankshaft broke. Just one of them things, could happen to any engine. It was run in to the book.

Needs a few minor mods, like new aluminium steering horn and check every screw as with most RTRs they are loose.

I would give it 7 out of 10. And whatever you buy, make sure to run the engine in before full throttle bashing.

@funguseater40 Im thinking of getting virus 2 kit, also sh 28 engine (3 port) i have heard about ansmann engines and problems with them. Which one is better the stock 28 engine from ansmann or the sh28 engine? Thanks

@popierdalacze well, the stock engin in the virus 2 is a .21. If you are going for a kit, i would definitely go for the sh28.

For better quality components (though a bit more cost) have you considered Losi 810 or even better an RBone, thought these ar RTR models.

@popierdalacze iv had my virus 2 about 4 months i run it in properly n since that iv abused the shit out of it tryin backflips and jumping bmx jump n i havent broken a single thing over than knockin the spoiler off and scratchin the shell its the rtr 1 in this vid. i recommend modelsport uk they r spot on and good prices

I've checked these buggy's but im a bit short of budget just now so need to settle on virus 2 kit. I have managed to find hong nor kit with lots of upgrades but still 270 quid for kit is a bit to much just now. Later on i will change buggy for something else, i need something for bashing just now as im addicted to nitro :) sh28 should last me few tanks and power. There are two different sh28 3 port engines, the blue one and balck one. The black one seems to a bit newer.Dont know whcich is better
