Two things:

1. Logic doesn't prove anything one way or the other about real life facts.

2. Logic doesn't care about contingent propositions i.e. whether or not any particular proposition is true as a matter of fact.

3. Did I say two? :) Logic only cares about the internal consistency of an argument. So, for example:

All dogs are shareholders in Microsoft.

Rex is a dog.

Rex is a shareholder in Microsoft.

IS VALID even though the initial premise is absurd.

Correct, more often than not. This is why deduction is more often useful as rebutal than a proof. However, IF the premise is (always) true and the argument is consistent, then you do have an acceptable demonstration of truth.

Finding a premise that is irrefutably true is often a problem, which is why premises are usually complex rather than simple in real world use. I am at a loss, so far, to devise a premise that pigslop might have been using that is not clearly absurd.

OK, but personally I think it's very likely a wasted effort as it looks like the people associated with ED and/or Yahweh are one brain cell short of an amoeba anyway. They seem to be motivated by malice and are probably best ignored.
