@SuperPapi303 Huh ? By Your Side isn't my fav Crowes album but it is their most soul and gospel tinged recording. Not as bare boned as some of the other records but IMO it was a showcase for their abilities and I don't hear anything that the recoed company would have pushed for. Not very radio friendly. These guys would sooner die than bow down to record company execs.

@mse1576 Really? Well, that's what I've always thought. On By your side they were trying to be something they are not. Even the album cover is awful. Just fake. Maybe Sony put some pressure on them, or maybe it was the cocaine. I don't know. Amorica is their best album. Without a doubt.
