One question are you sure it goes down to an Am on the refrain? I've never heard it played that way and it overall seems kind of awkward in there. No critism, just a question for my own betterment on this song. I too like your gallery of other offerings. I'm going to go wade through them now.
I can't remember what Bogle's does in the chorus. I like the C-Am change since it adds some movement that matches the G-Em change. I've heard it done without. It's a matter of preference I think.
