You won't lose weight honey! This is crazy, the same kind of thing happen to me! I am severely allergic to Thyroxine that wasn't picked up and I nearly died from the horrific severe Thyrotoxicosis symptoms. I am now on Levo-thyroxine syrup (T4) and Liothyronine (T3) it is the T3 that puts your weight back how it chould be! It is very common! Look on Thyroid sites on the net, there are loads of us! But in the UK it is extrememely hard to get a diagnosis! In the US you can take Armour!

I think I'm allergic to thyroxine. I don't swell up, but with my other allergies I don't swell either. When I take any type of thyroid medicine my heart races and I feel horrible. I've never been able to take it. What kind of medicine did they give you to take along with it?
