I attended UTEP where fourth runner-up (fifth place) Ms Teen Texas Charlene Molinar went to college. She was actually a very friendly young lady and never made much about her pageant success. She actually was even more beautiful face to face than what you see hear on this old VHS download. It was interesting to watch the hair styles too and remember the BIG HAIR 80's. Great stuff.

Just an interesting note, the first 2 miss usa's represented new york and illinois and the first 2 miss teen usa's were also from those states.

and Texas got their only MTUSA crown only in 1996.

Miss USA Julie Hayek and Miss Universe Lorraine Downes crowned BOTH MTUsa 1983 and MTUsa 1984!!

Of course,,when they crowned Kelly Hu in 1985 they got it right but in 1986,, the 1st Runner-Up from Texas should have won.
