I have not been to Amsterdam since the smoking ban. As I understand it the Coffee Shops are encouraging everyone to Vapourize. It's better for your lungs. The Cannabis is heated to a point where the psycoactive ingredients vapourize and are release. There is no combustion. No burned plant material. I find you can taste the strains much better with vapour. You still get high and also spare your little pink lungs.

Thanks Jet! We did the vapourizer when I was in Amsterdam. It def gets you high and can def taste the strains much more. Can you still roll and smoke in the shops though? I was planning to go back with my fiance this fall, but some friends want to go also so we pushed it back to the following year. Can't wait!
