that would indeed be tiger, Jaguar was never released to the public with the ability to run on the x86 platform and was way before the mac pros time=]

I recently had a problem like this where BOTH of my cores were maxing out 24/7 and as it turns out google chrome was using 200%!!!... SO i looked around for about 2 hours. found a fix. clear the history............. WOW

I don't know when he started and quit working for Apple. I do know that about 25 years ago, he made a demo video for the then new Apple Lisa.

It's most likely your packet scheduling chip. ask apple to to take in your computer and test the packet scheduling chip... 3rd party software to test it dont work

I had a similar problem that cause my Mac Pro to lag OSX I took my mac pro back and the apple store in atlantic city charged me a restocking fee.
Maybe i will try the 8 core mac pro

Wow - restocking fee??? Oh man, that stinks! But hey, now you can get the new "FF" 8 core machine! I hope that works out for you!
