  • wow! does he take after arthur benjamin? he reminds me of him!

  • @kreativekool Yes. Dr. Benjamin has actually become a good family friend. He's a fantastic guy & has been extremely supportive and helpful.

  • @Llynze. That's actually pretty accurate. Dr. Benjamin is a family friend now, and he's helping Ethan develop his own act, but this was his first time on stage and he was really just having some fun. He's now working on developing his own approach and tricks.

  • being a human calculator and working out dates mega fast? thats a form of autism isnt it?

  • @alexpettyfer12 It's not a "form" of autism, but some autistic people do have very high level math skills similar to this. In this case, Ethan learned some mental math formulas and practiced them constantly in order to develop the rapid speed.

  • I can square 3 digit numbers, and 4 digit numbers up to 5000. Do I get Dr. Benjamin to support me?

  • Arthur Benjamin fanboy lol Jk this is amazing. I can only square numbers ending in 25 in my head lol

  • Ethan i go to ur schoooollll. im in 8th grade!!!! well going in to 8th. i just want to let u no this is amazing and ur really smart! good job!! and keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cheeky boy, saying 'give me a difficult two digit number'... the ones that appear to be more difficult (ones closer to 100) are actually easier. I got the 98x98 before he did, but the 85 one was impressive. Also he is 10, so kudos

  • @gytax0, there aren't many "Mathemagicians" out there and yes much of this was taught to Ethan by Art Benjamin. It seems odd to me that the negative comments are about a 10 year old kid at a grade school talent show not being original. He still had to learn to do these things and practice like hell to get good enough to have the guts to do it in front of his entire school. He should have also developed new Math material that hadn't ever been tried by adults who do this professionally? Before So

  • The whole acting copied from Arthur Benjamin. Are these acts like a standard for the mathemagicians?

  • @BethelBrowns that's very cool! tell ethan to keep it up!

  • freaky thing im 10 and my name is Ethan Brown
