'Dragonlance- Dragons of Autumn Twilight' is a fantasy novel based on a Dungeons & Dragons game session. It was the first Dragonlance novel, beginning the series in 1984. The screenplay adaptation is being handled by George Strayton, with creative assistance by Margaret Weis and Hickman, and Will Meugniot is directing. Toonz Animation, Commotion Pictures and Epic Level Entertainment are producing the film, with conceptual artwork from Kunoichi and others. Paramount Pictures will be looking after worldwide distribution. Animation specialists, Kickstart Entertainment is managing the pre-production of the project. The animation will be a 2D/3D hybrid, using an artwork style similar to that of the Dragonlance comics. Dragonlance is a fantasy medieval theme that conjures up images of flying dragons and breavehearts who take to the skies to make earth a safer place for its denizens.
