Whitney fresh out of rehab performing to her best at Plymouth Jazz Fest in Tobago.

Really i give her props for going knowing Bobby's book was comin out that day, fresh out to face all these people. Being compared with Diana Ross etc.

Thankfully from what i've seen, she's improved from this performance. But Whitney - you go 'head do your thing. Just don't slide back

Yes definitely it was sad that she let drugs get her there but i'm proud that she made her appearance on a hard weekend for her. Now that's strength and determination!

What a tremendous difference in sound between 2008 and now.  She REALLY sounds great. This video should be burned - the 2009 Whitney sounds much healthier.

I disagree, it's good to see for people that someone can start back no matter what condition they're in. Rehab not bad, it's a stepping stone and every bad note sung was a step toward a better one. Whitney was cheered on BIG TIME at that concert, with lots of love for her return.

No definitely not cold with 33C outside lol but she did just, that day before, get out of Rehab, so she was a bit shaky. honestly more power to her, at least she came out and did her thing. Everyone cheered her

It sounds to me like a voice that has been induring too much abuse, smoke of whatever substances and insufficient practise above all. The vocal chords are muscles that loose flexibility and strength just like any other muscle in the human body so they need to be exercised. Pop singers are not exempt from that principle although many of them seem to think they are. Ask any classical singer how much time they spend practising to keep it up.

im a mega fan- but be honest she has done better. they got what they wanted n its sad. whitney was untochable. but believe if she can do like aretha and relearn to stay low- she's older but she aint out the game. she still even here sound better then stars today.

Please about the jazz thing people. Whitney was not prepared and the drugs and her cigarette smoking have damaged her vocal chords she needs to stop smoking and work with a vocal coach.
