@tangodown475 I have the TA31-RCOM4. most of the ACOGs are calibrated for a 20 inch barrel. and they are just as accurate on 16 inch carbines. I don't think it will really make any difference. It might even be more accurate considering there is only a 1.5 inch difference in barrel lengths.

i have been looking at getting a ta31-rco m4 for my noveske 16'' for about a year but have no idea how far off they BDC will be off at 3 to 400 meters or if an extra 1.5'' of barrel will effect it at all.

I'm one of those California liberal nuts, I haven't boycotted any of the ammo from Arizona though. I don't think any of my fellow shooters have either. We'll check out the HPR ammo! I also have an ACOG, the TA11H-G 3.5x35 and it took about 5 mins since I did the laser bore sight at home. For the longest time I've been dreaming of that green horseshoe and finally took the dive and bought the scope. I've never been so impressed with a scope! It easily hit each gong out to 600yd with the BR.
