Around Tema (2) - Ghana

This is my second clip of Tema, the port city of Ghana in the Greater Accra Region. This clip starts in Community #6, which is north of the centre of Tema, and this is where much of the footage is from, although the shots taken at dusk are more towards the centre of Tema, taken in Community #2

WOW I MISS HOME. 10 YEARS IN THE STATES WITHOUT SETTING MY EYES ON TEMA. ON THE REAL I MIGHT VISIT PRETTY SOON.

@Charliesonbaahsonsky - Tema has had a couple of changes just since last year. The Melcom that was by the market in C1 is now relocated about 300 yards, and is now a Melcom Plus building, very similar to the one at the Industrial Area in Accra. Good too, the old Melcolm at Tema was like a sauna to enter.

I know KFC are now open at the IA location & in Osu, and I assume KFC will open in Tema at some point.

It's mainly around C1 & the Hospital Road that you notice change in Tema.

@Xebonyeyezx - Hi, yes, I stay in Sakumono Estates when I travel to Ghana............the MP Flats, right near the secondary school.......

@Xebonyeyezx - Yes it is, I drive past that school on my way out nearly every day when I'm over there........

I've also had several games on the tennis court, which is right alongside the football pitch for the school........

@shestouch - Tema is spread out as a place, and there is a residential area, a business precinct, and an industrial area.....outside of the business precinct, you won't see a mass of people walking around...

For that in Tema, I would say definitely around Community #1, especially around Melcom & the Market, and near the banks, plus parts of Community #2.......much of what you see here is around Hospital Road (around Comm #6), and you see mainly vehicles rather than people on the roadside.....
