@ThebigHurtt Yes you can clean it that way with varying success.

I have 2002 Sienna and the Rpm going up and down. I just replace my TPS and take it for a test drive the problem still there. What can be the other problem? Might take it to my mechanic wich is Sucks!!

@richpin06a No i didn't how can that be effected, and if so how can i replace this?

@Gregd8888 I do not sounds more like tune up related or a vacuum leak.

@richpin06a Hey I'm 18 and I just got my first car (88 nissan 300zx). I'm getting my license next week and I'm hoping to have my car up and running by then but the car stutters and jerks a lot and just acts weird when it's in drive. Do you think this is because of a bad TPS?

@richpin06a i cleaned the throttle body, iac, switched the ects, and inspected the vac hoses(hoses seem to be fine), but seem to have high idle sometimes even after its warmed. After car is warmed and im driving. When i hit the brakes sometime it will like rev a bit in between the 1-2 then back to 0 once i made a complete stop. I have no engine light on, but do you think the tps is going?

@omarG19100 Did you check for a bad intake manifold gasket.
